Special Message for Supporters of Keepers of the Wild

Help us build
a new life.

We are Apollo, Hercules, and Ruckus, recently rescued by Keepers of the Wild, we are now in quarantine in our new home. All the animals here have a great big habitat and we would like to have one too. Can you help?

Apollo, Hercules, and Ruckus are Bengal tigers that were primarily used for photo opportunities. However, once they reached the age of 6 months or 80 lbs, these opportunities had to come to an end. By USDA regulations, they were deemed unsafe to be handled by the public. Brought to us from Oklahoma, if these cats had been unable to find a new home, they would have been euthanized. This is a common practice amongst exhibitors when the animals are no longer able to generate money for the owner.

My new name is "Princess". Confiscated by AZ Game & Fish and turned over to Keepers of the Wild, I was used to train hounds to hunt my own kind. Thank goodness that is over now, because the good people at Keepers took me in. After extensive medical exams and spaying, I am anxiously awaiting to be turned loose into my new home with three other wonderful cougars. You can help!
